“Two nights ago I stood in the exact spot where we held and prayed for Levi as tubes were coming out of him everywhere and monitors were beeping constantly. Our sweet friends just had twin baby girls at 29 weeks. They are expecting their NICU stay to be at least 6 weeks. 6 weeks of uncertainty, 6 weeks of desperate prayer, 6 weeks of traveling home with empty carseats, 6 weeks of midnight calls to the nurses to check on the babies because they can’t just roll over and peek in their basinets. It is a difficult road. I consider it a joy and an honor to serve these families in some small way.”
